Plex for Android user reviews :

Use this every day to stream content from laptop to TV. Works really well..Nice to have well organised content with series details and so on. There are the occasional moments when it freezes or fails to load content, usually if I stop and start something but it’s the best I’ve found.

Updated to the latest version 29/01/21 and now nothing works. “An error occurred while attempting to play this video. Please check your connection and try again” is all I get when I try to play anything. It also constantly crashes now too. Was perfectly fine before the update. Please fix this.

I use it for all my movies, I love the interface and the possibilities. I only struggled once and that was with the setup but once everything’s fine, it’s the best app you can have for your personal media. I use it with my phone, NAS, TV and Google TV and that anywhere I want

Plex is notorious for not listening to their userbase. As for the app, it’s terrible for listening to music. It constantly stops/pauses/freezes on random play and for no apparent reason. I’d bring it up on their forum, but no one would respond, so 2 stars for you until it’s addressed.

The only thing keeping me from 5 stars is the lack of audiobook support. There are workarounds, but that’s the feature I would use the most if it had it built in.

App keeps losing my streaming activation (purchased through google), forcing me to reinstall if I want to watch more than a minute. Tech support verified my account was ok and suggested clearing caches and/or reinstalling, which worked, albeit for two weeks and has lost my activation again…

Plex is simply the greatest thing to come along since Napster! This app is just an extension of plex to your phone or tablet and is well worth the money.

Best media control so far This fits best with Chromecast, never had an issue, if people expect to get this for free then your all idiots. The app is the best so far with media in mind and ease of control and simplicity, only those who cringe with this technology are worse than humans, and that’s saying something. Still waiting for a cleaner interface though when using a Plex server, thus 4 stars.
