Ultralingua user reviews :

Better than the newer, flashier dictionary apps (hear that, MobiSystems?). The interface is simple yet highly functional, and searches take advantage of basic computing technology, i.e. they lead you not only to headwords but also to phrases and idioms containing your search term (hear that, MobiSystems?). Excellent!

English/Spanish edition: great app; use it all the time and it rarely fails me. The only suggestion I would make is that I would love to be able to look up phrases as well. Strangely, my husband’s newer version does do this but his one doesn’t show the various uses of the word you look up, which mine does! Given that, I actually prefer my version but it would be great to have both

Great app, been using it Ultralingua for many years & even though Spanish was my first language, I depend on Ultralingua’s Spanish dictionary for my company’s translation services on technical & descriptive manuals. It’s the extensive conjugation section that’s most helpful in proper translation. Thanx! B^)

I’ve read some of the reviews here where people are whining about the design and functionality. I’m not sure what they are on about – their old paper dictionaries are waiting for them if this is such a dog I think this is magic. Well done. Love it. Yes there will always be stuff that can be better, and I’m sure the developers are on it.

Simply the best there is, been using it for years. Also has all verb conjugations. Great help for anyone wanting to improve their grammar

Excellent for foreign language dictionaries and definition ones. Works without Internet connection once your dictionaries are downloaded.

This is a very easy to use reference resource. I use it for help with Spanish and French and is so much more convenient than using a book as it is in my pocket all the time

User friendly. I find it really easy to swap between languages. Good verb lists nice layout.

Still the best dictionary app out there. I would love a visual refresh with dark mode though.

Simple and efficient interface stays out of your way and cannot be done better. Instant access to your searched word and related terms without the internet makes this a handy reference tool for teachers or students. Most people would just Google a term, but this tool is much faster as results don’t require an internet query. The auto complete for searched terms is flawless. This app is a rarity as it is a no cost, ad free tool which is truly useful.

Fast and reliable, though a long way to go. The User interface is very simple and fast. Definitions given are to the point. It would be nice if the history is not limited to few words and keeps all the words searched so far. Otherwise it’s great.

Needs integration with share button so I can use it to directly define words from my browser and ebook reader. Needs to have better explanation for the available dictionary modules. Apart from that its a solid app.
