Generally, I like the look. It looks more like the website without using a browser. I have Asus TF700 with dock. When I use the tablet on its own, the videos have the zoom button on the bottom right of the video. But zoom button disappears when dock is used. I think it’s just bug that Google didn’t think about when You tube app was updated. It’s minor bug that can be overlooked if you watch the videos without the dock attached. Update: The zoom button came back after latest update on 2/21.
Even with the best connection speed, short videos and long videos alike continue to buffer nonstop and load very slowly. Ruins the app. Only way to get smooth video is by going to YouTube on phone’s browser. Disappointed.
After the last update I opens YouTube app only a black screen appears and if I want to go back with the back button there is no response only if I press the home screen I can go out the app and go to the task manager and close it from there. I appreciate your help and waiting for an update for my HTC dhd :) — thank you for your help

After weeks of everlasting buffering, finally an update which seems to have corrected the issue! Nice one :-D
