Spin Rhythm user reviews :

I enjoyed the game. However, the click and the swipe are sometimes unresponsive and adding the full streak on two consecutive songs as a mission makes it more frustrating, you can ignore it though, but a completionist will suffer the most. Its ads aren’t too many and the game can be hard.

Pretty solid rhythm game. The spin mechanic is fun and unique, and the ads are relatively unintrusive. With that said, I can’t give 5 stars to any game with an energy system. I don’t want to have to stop playing for a while or pay money to keep playing because I flubbed up a song too many times. Other than that, it’s good. The other in-app purchases are just revives and shields so there’s not much to complain about there. Overall, it’s a good, free rhythm game.

  • Dear DJ! Thank you for liking our game and giving us feedback. The new version(1.0.4) increase max Energy limit to 10, enjoy:), We are still optimizing the game to make it more polish, Looking forward to more feedback from you! thanks

(Note: I have a good amount of time in the PC version so there’s an inherent bias at play) Spin Rhythm mobile isn’t *bad* but it certainly doesn’t hold a candle to the PC version. I guess that’s to be expected, but from the messy level design, lack of replayability, and questionable monetization – the game’s still *fun*, but it just feels like something’s off. It’s like this game was put into existence by a Monkey’s Paw.

The monetization is typical mobile garbage. The gameplay is dumbed down, which is to be expected, and it’s otherwise fine. However, the notes on screen are seriously delayed compared to the music, maybe as much as half a second behind. I used the calibrate option in the menu and it was synched there perfectly. My frame rate was fine as well. On top of that, actual song chart quality is a far cry from the PC version. Really disappointed.

It’s definitely designed for mobile. Forced ads, stamina bars, daily login rewards, you name it. Game works but you can tell that they held themselves back. Audio latency and graphics adjustment is there, but no scroll speed and can’t change colors of the wheel and the notes. They removed scratch notes as well but I think they could’ve kept it there. They weren’t kidding when they said the mobile version was going to be for casuals. I don’t really recommend this to be honest, XD is better.

this game isn’t perfect but it’s not a bad mobile adaptation of the (better) PC game. ads are pretty sparse, which is awesome. you unlock content fairly quickly so there’s always something you can do. gameplay is nice and snappy although it’ll lag on older devices. it’s not one to one with the PC version but it hits the same niche. i like this adaptation!

Although it is extremely dumbed down from the PC version, it is still alright. The controls feel clunky and the level design was altered dramatically to compensate for mobile controls. Monetization was a bit of a worry, but hasn’t gotten in my way of playing the game yet. Might change rating if the controls are tweaked to feel less stiff and if they get rid of the monthly payment to remove ads. I love the PC ver. so I really hope they can make this port stand up to the original with some work
