Cute game, but very unstable. It’s not very playable when the ads lock up and freeze the game, blocking rewards, bonuses, or even round progression. I just got done eating the big snake at the end of a round, tried watching an ad for the coin multiplier, and it just sat there. I also tried, many times, to just watch ads for upgrades or coin bonuses, only to have nothing happen, or watch an entire ad and get no benefit for it. Otherwise, nice game, actual play has been very smooth.
I would DEFINITELY recommend paying for the no ads or you spend most of your time watching them. I seem to be stuck at level 22 and when I get close, all the snakes seem to disappear. No way you’re playing other players in real time because you have the option to watch an ad to continue playing if you get eaten by another snake. I’ve also accidentally started a game, minimized it and came back to the same time. Also seems like right when it starts getting good, time is up. Love the game, overall
This game is undeniably entertaining, with engaging gameplay and a delightful aesthetic. However, the excessive ads significantly disrupt the flow of the game, making it frustrating at times. If you can tolerate frequent ad interruptions, this app is worth checking out. Otherwise, you might want to look for an alternative with a less aggressive monetization strategy.
Liked it as first but quickly became annoyed with it. The levels are timed, which takes the fun out of it. On top of that, it is very ad heavy. Don’t feel like watching ads to increase your coins gained? If you decline, you’ll watch an ad anyway just to continue and restart the level. I spend more time trying to get through the ads than actually playing the game.
It’s an entertaining time killer, but I have one major complaint. When I play other games, I can continue to listen to podcasts in the background, but this game kills sound coming from Spotify. For me, it’s reason enough that I’ll probably delete it sooner rather than later. One other complaint I have is the ads. Of course, no one likes ads, but I understand why they exist. Exist. My problem with the ads with this game is there is an ad after EVERY SINGLE round of play.
The game itself is simple & fun, but no tutorial. You’ll figure it out. Yes, download & try it out but only if you don’t mind view ads to play. I like the retro pixels olden days vibe. Since it’s a free to play game there are ads but wow … Only way to advance is viewing ads, ads, ads, ads, ads & so on. At least they don’t interrupt while actively playing.
I actually really like the game. The problem is there’s only one way to play and that’s in a one 1 min round free for all. It’s not enough time. My other issue is there’s no way to differentiate between sizes that are close. 500 and 800 look similar and then you die. You bounce off the big ones and get stuck on the walls so even if you start doing good you end up wasting time just trying to get out from between snakes or off the wall. It sucks. I like the game though, so I gotta find a better 1.
