Still a long way to go. I like the graphics. It’s just a matter of adaptation. The issues so far are that there are words that are misspelled and also the fact that the tactics on ‘attack’ don’t show as they are blank. You can basically only see the instructions set when you click. Lastly, on the ‘defence’ tactic, I keep changing the option to ‘hard’ tackling, but it keeps reverting to ‘aggressive’ when I go back
Been playing since 2018. This game has so, so much potential – however, watching the games just *is not fun.* When a highlight ends in a goal, it takes roughly 12 seconds. When it doesn’t, about 5 seconds. This means you are actively rooting for your players to do nothing with the ball and shrug after 8 seconds when you realise it must be a goal before it’s scored, and rooting for opposition players to break through your defence to end the highlight quickly. Ruins all suspense and SM25 for me.
So far so bad! The players’ faces are gone, as well as the club badge, club name, stadium name and the crowd in the stadium. The simulation always goes blank before a game starts. I like the rearrangement of the home screen as well as the notifications for training and co. Been on this game since 2021 or so, this is the worst by a large margin. The scheduling isn’t great, I played three matches in three days. It’s in need of a serious overhaul .
I’ve played Soccer Manager on Android the last few years and I must say this 2025 edition is NOT as good as the older versions! It’s buggy, bad UI design, many adds and an overall feeling a game rushed to meet a deadline. Maybe it gets patched later on, but right now it’s below standard. Edit: now I’ve played some more and it just get worse. I adjusted my rating from 3 to 2 stars and decided to uninstall the game and just start up a new game in Soccer Manager 2024 instead.
a little better than the last 2. still some bugs like players run backwards, trip over thin air, glitches in the runs and far to many player errors leading to goals. also still haven’t sorted out the game crashing mid match and forcing you to start again it’s been like it forever with sm games. it’s annoying coz when you are winning the match and it crashes during the 2nd half you have to restart the game again and then end up losing the match. still the odd players you can’t sell 4 some reason
