This game is so cute and fun! Bakery Story is the perfect leisure game. It is the one game I keep coming back to over the years. It is safe for kids – no live chat, just message boards where everyone can see what anyone else writes on your wall. The graphics are clean and well done. There are absolute tons of adorable decor choices and themes, especially as your level goes up. The food and drink choices to make are mind-blowing. You can follow the goal list for rewards or just putter around.
Love the game, always have. I used to play the older version. One thing really annoying is gifting because there are no filters so to get to food or basic parts you have to scroll through pages of parts and hope you don’t accidentally hit the wrong one. If it had filters for food, basic parts and goal parts it would be so much easier. Even your other game Restaurant Story let’s you at least filter for food.
I’ve played this on and off since it came out, always starting from scratch because that’s how I prefer it. I noticed that there was an event on so decided to reinstall it. I made it to level 3 before it bugged out. The tasks want me to build counters but the only counters it’ll let me build are ones through diamonds or for 50,000+ coins. Can’t do anything now because I don’t have the diamonds to do the tasks and I can’t skip them either.
Loved the game at first but there’s two major problems. All of the challenges require me to download other games and play them. So I decided not to do any challenges and just expand and decor my restaurant but I can’t expand unless I have friends download the game. So the only way I can play this game is to play other games in addition, and get other people to play as well. That’s a bit much. I can’t do it.
It’s a really fun game. A much needed quality of life improvement is that we need to be able to sort/ filter in each menu by several factors like: style, price, time, and type. A total audacity to the game is that in order to send a food related gift to someone I have to click the next arrow like 100x times and if I mess up at any point I have to start over. Pleeeeease fix this
