I was skeptical- being a nurse I thought yah right! So I tried it at work with a monitor. It worked! Very very happy!
Place the tip of your index finger on phone’s camera and in a couple of seconds your Heart Rate will be shown.
A real-time chart will show your every heart beat.
It uses your phones built-in camera to track color changes on the fingertip that are directly linked to your pulse. This is the same technique that medical pulse oximeters use.

Really good Seems really good, and appears to be accurate, which is slightly weird – my heart rate seems to sway between 47 and 54 when resting, which is a bit low, especially considering I am really unfit… Lol
Pretty darn cool I like it! Now if I could just stop stressing about my nursing finals, this thing might tell me my hr is normal!
Nice app! I always wanted to measure my heart rate while working out in the gym. The tread mill mounted scales don’t show the accurate rate and I found this app. It works pretty well. Great work, guys!
Mind at ease This app has helped with my anxiety when i feel myself getting worked up i check my heart rate with this app and know to go calm myself down rather than trying to time it with a clock and work myself up more top notch
