Surprisingly helpful! I didn’t expect to use this as much as I have! You add people then gifts, then check off once it’s bought. If you have added a budget and a price it then fills the meter. I just didn’t want to forget what I had and wanted a running list so I thought this was overkill and I wouldn’t use it ‘properly’ but it’s honestly brill! Just a good basic but in depth list maker. Makes the type a side of my brain melt a little
I love this app. Very handy and keeping my Christmas organized. Plus, all of my parents have birthdays within a month of Christmas, so I use this to keep track what I have purchased for birthdays versus Christmas. I’ve definitely recommended this to friends. Things I’d love to see in an update: 1. A “Received” box – the app has a button for whether you have bought and wrapped each gift. However, I often order things online. it would be very helpful to be able to track how many items have been purchased versus how many items have been received. 2. A way to transfer gifts from one person to another – Sometimes I buy something for one office party, but decide to take it to a different office party. Being able to transfer that gift from one recipient to another within that would be very handy rather than deleting and recreating the gift listing. 3. A way to save gifts for next year – the app does a fantastic job of archiving your gift list from previous years. This means that I can look back to see what I bought somebody last year or prior. However it would be really handy to defer gifts into a future year. I may have a lot of really fantastic ideas for my mother-in-law this year that I want to save and remember for next Christmas. Future me would thank you a lot for this improvement!!!
So far it has been great. I have a few mods I would like. It would be nice if you could mod lists to include things like food, alcohol, decor etc. I have just created a new person for them, but if it was more flexible that would be nice. The other thing is if you could mark things as just ideas. For example, I have 6 things on my daughter’s list so it is telling me I have 6 things to buy. I am not planning to buy all 6 things so I would rather they not be counted on the to do lists.

Also great for budgeting. PLEASE add the ability to create gift lists other than annual Christmas. This app would be even better if I could plan and track birthdays, especially when shifting Christmas gifts to/from birthdays which are close to the holidays.
