People that are saying this app is wrong compared to other apps simply have no clue and haven’t even tred to understand why. This app is intended to tell you what your real speed is to Netflix. Most ISPs prioritize network traffic for other speedtest sites and apps so those sites\apps are not presenting a true representation of your network speeds. This app tells you how fast your ISP traffic is to Netflix, which is a more accurate representation of your internet speed. 5\5 stars for reporting the truth
This app tells you the truth about your ISP whether they are throttling your speed im streaming Netflix or not. I have Verizon and it shows only 6 mbps on this app. I switched the fone to use my home wifi and it instantly jumps up to 113 mbps. Useful app now that net neutrality is repealed.
Want to know how bad your ISP is throttling Netflix compared to your normal internet traffic? That’s pretty much what this is good for. My phone on 2 bars got 23 Mbps normally and 3.7 Mbps from Netflix. That’s a substantial limitation.
The app checks only download speeds for Netflix. It would be great if it could save previous recorded speeds within the application. The app doesn’t take much space and the packet size is small as well.
This app is exactly what I was looking for. Gives you a true test of internet speed, because most of us are looking for the real download speed of our internet especially from sites like Netflix. There are no ads, and no special permissions.
Does what it says. Quite accurate, I’m in a pretty net neutral country (Australia) so get 30mbs, which is what I pay for. Regionally this is handy with our ‘NBN Rollout’ people are getting scammed into paying more for less, so if you do get good speeds show this to your housemate, salesman or ISP trying to get you on to the more expensive 25mbs nbn plan.
