Welcome to HAAK, a world brimming with contraptions and dangers. Dangerous mutants walk the land while dark forces move in the shadows…
Rise, Haak, brave wasteland adventurer! Become the light that repels the darkness!
First available on PC and consoles, HAAK is now slaying foes on mobile!
The game takes place in a world ravaged by disaster. The once glorious city has been reduced to ruins, and the survivors struggle for survival. In the south, a land called Sanho has mostly remained unaffected by the calamity due to its unique geographical environment and has grown into something of a sanctuary. The protagonist, Haak, is a traveler from a small northern town. He chose to leave his home and ventured south to survive.
Haak is an explorative game combining action-platformer gameplay with Metroidvania.
Traverse the land with your hook, dash, and charged slash.
Find the multitude of secrets and hidden rooms scattered across the land.
Use any tool at your disposal to master mechanics and solve the multitude of puzzles.
A retro & futuristic pixel world for a comic-esque feel.
Creative difficulty changes so that even those who are all thumbs can beat the hardest of bosses.
Fully hand-drawn graphics with unique and interesting characters.
10 side missions and areas to explore with plenty of content for over 30 hours of gameplay.
Choose your own path and decide the fates of the game’s characters with several possible endings.
Ben Dover will rate you in a variety of aspects after you complete the game. Do you have what it takes to reach the highest rating?

HAAK user reviews :
This is a phenomenal game! Granted, the phone controls can be a little annoying at times but don’t let that discourage you. Story, gameplay, progression, challenge, all 10/10. I thoroughly enjoyed the game!
amazing stuff, great atmosphere, jokes, everything’s great! the ui could be made a bit more intuitive when it comes to aiming at things that don’t neccesarily have markers, but other than that, great game! haven’t checked yet, but if it isn’t already, then this could go on steam if it has a pc version (and the devd are able to fork over the 100 dollars valve asks for nowadays, at least) edit: just checked right after writing like a dummy, good job to the devs, cool stuff!
I only played the demo version of it, and on mobile, but it was a really good experience, the dialogue was good, the combat was good, the aiming system slowing time was cool, and that tutorial boss guy was a a good fight. I wish I could buy the full game. Only complaint is that the stick is locked to 1 specific part of the screen on mobile, making moving a little awkward, I get that there’s probably more buttons that are going to go there for abilities and such so really not much is wrong!
The controls are easy but it would be nice if the players could edit the control to be where they want it and i really hope to see more of the girl with the guitar from the start of the game also it’s pretty hard finding the secret stuff because the blocks that need to be destroyed are the same shade of black like the unbreakable ones so you kinds have to hit the majority of the walls hoping to find the fake ones also i don’t really understood the how to use the vegetables in the vending machine
I only played the Demo version but this game is fantastic. Really fun all around, the only issues I have with this game is that I wish I could buy the full version and the vending machine/ratings mechanics are a bit confusing to me but that’s all. Would recommend buying full version just based off of the Demo.
I played the game a couple of mins. and begin to save my progress of the game. But when I load it the movement/action buttons disappeared. Its pretty nice game and had a good story in it. But so many bugs though.
The second best platform game I ever experience in Android (forgotten anne first ) . # different weapons and abilities. #open world like map. #graphics super ,giving cyberpunk old retro vibes. #character is excellent looking. #good story build. #smooth fight action everything. #Bosses are just Damn good. #sound effects outstanding. We need more games like this. More features should be there like – *hiding in gaps *knockout or killing cinematics *different killing moves cinematics
