Charming, balanced, and fun. You can grind out cards F2P, but it will pay to get a battle pass. The sole complaint would be that animations are lacking, but the art and soundtrack make up for this in a big way. History buffs are clearly the target audience, so it lacks a lot of the flash other card games lean on.
Very good WW2 themed card game in a similar style to Gwent. It is fun to play and the cards give a decent history of the units they represent. The only reason I can’t give this a 5 star despite loving the game is because the grind can be a lot with not too many substantial rewards for it. The game would be 5/5 if diamonds (premium curency) were earnable by playing ranked or if some of the cosmetic stuff was avaliable to buy with gold (regular currency).
Kards is no doubt a great game, but retributions are ruining it by making the gameplay less sophisticated and bored, 4 kredits for a direct 4 damage to HQ or units and heal 2 seems like a little bit too much, not even mention the 3 cards selection makes retribution players flexible in almost every situation they faced, combied with yank they literally outmatch other playstyles. Will certainlly fix to a 5 star rate if they consider a change!
Love the game, and it’s really fun. But it’s a strategy game where strategy means nothing. Most ranked games you’re playing bots, and the win/loss is predetermined at the start. You’ll be kicking butt the whole game, then bots will pull the exact right cards to destroy you, with no chance of redemption. It’s basically a pay wall set up to get you to spend money on packages.
Amazing Card Strategy game! Units cost kredits to play AND move/attack which brings in so much more strategic play. All cards have a history tab with the description of the unit or concept from real life. 10/10 game for someone who wants to play a card game and like the WW2 genre.
Idk why it says single player when it’s only the tutorial. And right now when you make a new Japanese deck it’s auto inserting a bugged card that you can’t see or remove and since you don’t own it you can’t complete it until they fix this bugg. Also a single player skirmish mode like the tutorial to grind up gold for new cards would be great instead loosing to OP player who either paid for or been in game much longer then you. Loosing 20+ just win once for daily sucks!
Played for around 24 hours on my pc, and this game is just great. Good progression, good variety, just awesome. Not to mention it’s free, which, for the price, no other game competes. For a WW2 and also a card game nerd, it’s perfect.
