It’s nice to have additional resources above and beyond just what the book provides. Unfortunately this application was written by somebody who was focused fundamentally on the book. It lacks any level of customization, it doesn’t even track what books you might be using so that you can go back where you were previously. It always starts out at the same point making you go through all the same menus. In addition, there’s no roll up of activity where you can see what you’ve done at a high level.
This app is advertised on McGraw Hill Education books, but is not run by them. Even though it is on my Basic Latin book, it does not contain any Latin. It barely contains anything! It looks like it hasn’t been updated for over 2 years. If you want help with learning English, Spanish, or whatever the other 4 other languages it offers then it’s easy to use. Learning a more “unique” language? This most likely does not contain it.
This is what Ive been looking for all my life! Easy to use and responsive!! Fantastic and super useful!!! Im already speaking another language and I just got this app with the book 3 days ago!!! I love the fact that it has the books I need AND its not confusing with all these widgets or ad interruptions. Its a basic, simple app. Meaning its not catering to the customizations or specific sentence structures. Its a basic grasp. If you want that go to Duolingo, Babel or a community college.
Useless. Beginning learners need to HEAR native speakers pronounce words, say the words themselves and get feedback to improve. The app offers a “record yourself” function but no way to check if your pronunciation is correct. Too bad. The book is great, but it is less than half of a language learning toolbox. Quel domage.

All I got was a white screen with blinking white dots. I’m very disappointed, as I’m taking a class with the text and really needed/wanted the support of hearing the dialogues and exercises read aloud, as well as the flashcards.
It’s a fine app, works with a few books I own which is great, however, I’ve noticed a few grammatical errors or recordings that aren’t the correct sentence. This shouldn’t be happening with a text book company. Overall a fine app, I appreciate the flashcards style. Would be nice to have a place to store cards you repeatedly miss for further practice. Please contact me if you want help sorting out the errors I’ve found! (Samsung Galaxy S8 here)
Download this app! It gives you immediate access to all exercises adapted from all books. In the (self) audio section alone for Complete Italian Grammar, there are 1156 exercises! And that’s not including the flashcards section. I think a lot of people complain because everything is broken up into little bits and chunks, of five to 20 exercises each. Everyone is used to having flashcards of dozens or hundreds. But this does not work that way. I recommend doing each unit, and repeating it.
