I just love this app, beginning with the fact that it is A) free, and B) the least invasive of the quake apps. (Why any earthquake tracker should need access to MY files baffles me!) From there, its features just get better, especially all the settings you can choose from, including notifications– and adjust not only the level at which you wish to be notified, but also its particular sound. I love how you can even choose to display the world’s fascinating fault lines. This is by far the best.
Super fast and accurate warnings. It warned me of an earthquake (6.2) in my area within two minutes of it happening as opposed to the local emergency services, which advised of the earthquake 5 mins later. If only it had a tsunami warning feature that would be awesome!

- I have responded to your e-mail about this and will continue discussions with you over e-mail. The problem is caused by the Puerto Rican earthquake agency being very slow at detecting small earthquakes in the ocean which cannot be felt by people. If an earthquake occurs which affects people, they are much faster.
It’s a really good app except I’d rather see only my area instead of everywhere. Notifications are for local quakes,so that’s good.
The mapping if earthquakes is superior. Notifications are adjustable and clear. I like this app.

- Thank you for the feedback. The app does not keep the GPS enabled at all times, it uses a Google service which only periodically checks your location using a more battery efficient system than regular GPS. The battery usage should be reasonably low. I will look into trying to reduce it further and also to make it easier to filter out earthquakes.
Simple to use. Verry acurate . The earthquake message arrives almost inmediately. Is excelent.
it works great and when there’s an earthquake my phone goes off with a great notification ! love it I always get noticed! Works great
