My rating is final. I’m pretty sure, before early enrollment, we were supposed to get gear for preregistration. I haven’t received anything, so far. Also, moves could definitely be improved. Maybe a swipe combination i.e, swipe left/right and swipe back to create a “fadeaway”. Other than that, the game is new, so I’m gonna see where it goes. Good luck to all players and developers.

I really want to like the game, but it feels really unfinished. CPU player’s shots clipped entirely though my arm while trying to block. And good luck trying to collect your 3rd character, the CPU will torch you and not miss a single shot, so as soon as you miss it’s over. The shooting system is unnaturally slow, forcing you to hold the shot button way longer than a shot would take, even in real life. This is not a smooth gameplay experience. The bones are there, but it needs some major updates

As an NBA fan i was quite hyped for this game especially since it is managed by Niantic not a freshman. Unfortunately the outdoor aspect is flawed by own the court games which take way too long to complete with a satisfying result (top4 for best rewards). Apart from that there are some issues with animation while playing 1 vs1. Other trials are fine but a bit imbalanced energy wise which can make a difference in the long run. To sum up the game has potential but needs a lot of polishing.

I do enjoy the gameplay and structure of this app. Niantic did a good job of taking the concept of an NBA game and making it fun. However, I dislike this app due to the aggressive monetization. If you do not play perfectly, you lose your matches. It is that simple. If there is a player you really want to recruit and you lose to them, it offers a steep premium currency price to rematch. Yet again, you have to play perfectly in order to win. It is due to this that I can not recommend this app.

Good game but there are just some basic functions missing: Leaving a game if you know you are gonna lose without restarting the whole game and the ability to nominate new locations. I know this game just launched but it’s my honest review. The game is fun, but it would be even better if it didn’t run in 15 fps. The graphics aren’t the best too but I really hope the game will improve and not be discontinued. Edit: The game is sooo slow. The animations are way too long.

I think it’s a great game. Great concept. Not something I would have ever thought of having a location based game. I will be updating my review as time goes on because this is just my day one review and so far I think it’s a pretty good game. There’s been a few little issues running it on my pixel 6 with it having some freezing and stuff but nothing too bad

It’s alright. I had an issue where when you click the menu during a match (that shows “Forfeit), when you leave it you can’t shoot anymore. Also I think the devs need to learn about Z-fighting because jesus christ with some of the outfits…seizure warning maybe. K Porter Jr. on the world map looks like a disco ball.
