[App] Notarize

NotarizeNotarize : Operational 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

Average wait time is less than one minute.

Upload a document, prove your identity, fill out your document, and connect with a licensed Virginia electronic notary by live video call. Sign before the agent who will then legally notarize your document.

When done, share your document by email, save to dropbox, or print and submit manually.

If your document is in paper form, Notarize offers the ability to scan your document directly within the app.

Notarize agents are held to the highest standards and have completed training, undergone background checks, and independently hold insurance in accordance with notary industry best practices. All Notarize agents are licensed electronic notaries located in Virginia.

The service is based on Virginia Senate Bill 827 and House Bill 2318, which were passed in 2011 and allow for remote electronic notarization. The service is across the country due to the Full Faith and Credit Clause of the U.S. Constitution as well as laws in every state that explicitly accept out of state notarizations.

Simply download the app to legally notarize your document today.

Notarize user reviews :

Being that I am in legal, this app may sound convenient but nearly all states require notarization to be witness face to face with a notary. Believe me, I wish there was a work around but it is what it is. Many lenders and banks will not accept an electronically notarized document and the county recorder office certainly won’t accept them no matter where in the country you are.

  • Thanks so much for the comment and highlighting this. This page shows how this is legal notarize.com/availability/ In a nutshell, Virginia changed a law in 2012 that allows notaries to perform a meeting online! If anyone has specific questions about their documents please shoot us a note at Support@notarize.com and we will be happy to help.

Most banks, FedEx, UPS, USPS, municipal, and state offices provide free or low cost ($5) notarization services. Heck, you can try car dealerships and real estate offices too, many often have a notary on site and can help you out. Take five minutes to call around, I bet there’s somewhere right down the street.

Absolutely perfect. Incredibly clean, convenient, reliable and fast way to get a notarization done…remotely!? How is this even possible. 5 stars

Provides a surprisingly fast and efficient process for something that is historically a huge pain. Each step was quick and intuitive.

Very good idea !
