How to Join a Remote Raid using PokeRaid?
Make sure that you have a Remote Raid Pass
Find an Active Raid Room and Join. Friendship code of the host trainer is copied to your clipboard automatically.
Open the game and add the host as friend
Notify other trainers when you are ready, return to the game and wait for a raid invitation
Join the raid battle and beat the boss!
Thank everyone in the room and give a rating to the host.
How to host a Remote Raid using PokeRaid?
Find a raid around you and take a screenshot of the raid
Create a Raid Room in PokeRaid and upload your screenshot
Wait for trainers to join your room
Return to game, accept friendship requests
Notify other trainers when you are about to start the raid battle
Start the raid and invite all trainers and beat the boss
Don’t forget to thank to your guests and give their ratings!

The idea of the app is great. The way it’s currently implemented makes it shite. It has paid autojoin, if you use it, you end up paying double for a remote raid. When demand is high, autojoin takes ages and only works in foreground. This means you cant play the game while queueing. If you get a call, you’re out. If they have an error, you’re out. No returing to the queue. Matchmaking is also shite. It has a ranking system but with no real use since you can’t filter or kick members in any way.

Nice app. But please state in big bold friendly letters that you need to have a GPS signal before joining a remote raid, because without it, it looks like accepting the invitation won’t work. It’s not possible to accept a friendship request once the raid room is empty (either there’s no button anywhere else for that or it’s deeply hidden in some dungeon).

Great app for finding remote raids. Different times have different raid frequencies but overall it’s been a good experience. Some people can be a little impatient but if you keep clear communication you should be fine. No intrusive ads.
Pretty good app for getting connected to raids around the globe. Only issue I have is sometimes the people don’t send the invites to you and you slip through the cracks and miss a raid once in a while however that’s nothing to do with the app itself as it works great. Hosting is a bit weird having to spend coins to do it however I’d highly recommend if you’re wanting to get rare pokemon like legendaries or mega and need some help, this is the app to get!
They’ve come up with some improvements in hosting, but they really need to add a weather boosted filter for auto-enroll feature !! If they fixed this, I’d change my rating … Update (12/22) – There have been a number of improvements since my last rating (3 stars); you can now pay extra to enroll in weather boosted raids, you also are allowed to tip good raid hosts. Now they also allow the app to bubble, to message during the raid and allow Pokemon Go more stability.
Wonderful app for finding raid parties, extremely useful as a rural player. Was worried that it was going to be a heavily monetized system but joining rooms manually doesn’t cost coins and the auto join feature that costs coins is only really necessary during very busy times but when used sparingly the free daily coins is more than enough
