I believe there is a bug with the orientation of the milky way, and the picture of the milky way background, compared to the ecliptic of the solar system, it is reversed: in the app, due to the wrong orientation, it shows the milky way galactic core being visible at night from earth during winter months, while the opposite is true in reality: the galactic core is visible at night during summer months, and during the winter months, the night sky of the earth points in the opposite direction.
I am a total space and astronomy obsessive and love anything that helps me learn more – the graphics are beautiful and it covers all the basic info on our solar system and beyond. There are also very few ads. Admittedly the upgrade is way better (and def. worth it), the only drawback is this is a little dated now, so Solar Walk 2 is more accurate. But its still a wonderful app and a must for space lovers.
