Important Notice #1
If you intend to do a factory reset on the phone, please make sure default backup folder is in your external SD card before doing it. If not, please copy the entire backup folder (“SmsContactsBackup” by default) to your external SD card
Important Notice #2
Since Android M 6.0, access bookmarks from 3rd party application is disabled, so Super Backup cannot backup and restore bookmarks.
Important Notice #3
If you schedule automatic backups, and you use some apps such as Task Killer or Memory Clear, please make sure you had add Super Backup into their White List or Ignore list. Otherwise Super Backup can not run in background, and automatic backups will not work.
Important Notice #4
When you finished the SMS restore process, but the messages were not displayed in your default SMS app, please try to reboot your device.

Location Permission
This permission is required to transfer backup files between devices by WiFi peer to peer.
Starting from Android 8, using the Wi-Fi peer-to-peer requires location permission. This is required by android system, we will never collect your location information.

This is the only app that functions correctly in this store! I’ve tried numerous apps, but after creating a backup, I find myself unable to reinstall them. I’m left with no choice but to download them all over again. However, this particular app stands out as it effectively handles the backup of applications and allows for hassle-free reinstallation.
Been using this app for years with great success. Unsure WHAT I might have changed, but app now denies ability to send backed up material to cloud or others — a key function. Can’t figure out WHY getting a message saying SENDING is blocked/ uninstalled! App SUPERB in converting texts to pdf, BUT doesn’t incl pics & ORDER of texts is newest 1st, which hinders easy reading – have to begin on last pg. to read text flow well (wish could alter this!)
I have the premium version and really glad that I do. However, the call recorder stopped working after there were 54 recordings and didn’t give me any notification. I was on an important call and failed to record any of it. Very frustrating when this happens. They also don’t bother to reply to these reviews.
Very uselss application I’ve ever seen on Google Play Store. I cannot restore my backup at all…. I’ve copied my backup files to default sdcard/smscontactbackup and can see the files but when restoring backup I cannot select file to restore. I lost my backup. Please never use this app for backup and restore.
Excellent app. I have been using it for years . Except a few fones which dnt support its call recording feature , everything else works fine..
The backup does a great job as far for backing up my stuff. I paid for the no ads. I am still stuck with the ads. No full version yet.
This thing is awesome! I spent so long trying to get Google to work for transferring things to mh new phone. This is so much better, the ads aren’t annoying either. Get it!
Believe it or not, the app actually works on Android 13 now! For the time being I withdraw my previous criticisms. But the long-standing issue of the app dates still remains: the dates shown in the Archived tab are correct; the dates shown in the Installed tab are quite random. It has been ever thus for many years, on many different devices, throughout many Android versions. Plus it still randomly decides to archive apps that are already installed, even when they have not been updated. Annoying.
