They fix bugs faster than most games do. If you can’t build a deck on here that can win against other’s decks, then you probably need to finish or redo the color challenges. Or use the tutorial option. I’m experienced in this game and can honestly say this game has still taught things I didn’t know or was off a bit on rules. Really a great game, keep fixing the problems as they come up guys.
Really cool game, because magic is a really good game. Unfortunately they have an MMR system and a mana distribution system that plays against you if you win too much. It’s to keep you as close to a 50/50 w/l ratio, which almost kills the game imo. Everything should solely be RNG like playing magic in real life. I’ve personally played a ton of magic and I’m very familiar with how decks play out. So, I promise you, the game dictates whether you win or lose instead of strategy and deck building.
It’s pretty fun. One really major criticism for me though is that there is no format for players who only use, or only can use pre-construction decks to play against players with only precostructed decks. It Would be nice to have a nice level playing field like that, and then people who want the extra challenge can go for people who use busted Constructed decks.
Very buggy. During the tutorial phase something went wrong and the app thought I had already beat the second tutorial boss, when I hadn’t. Whenever I tried to play a game nothing would happen. Had to continue on a different account. Also for some reason, whenever I play a game, the wallpaper on my phone turns to black. Very random bug and I have no idea what’s causing it
great game – althought only 4 stars due to glitches and errors. E.g when a spell is cast just as the timer is about to run out – spells are “put on the stack” but not actually played or mana cost taken -yet the card is removed from hand but just stays on screen as if in limbo! Another Bug /Glitch : when told to discard a card it gives me the choice but when i try and select a card to discard it just takes a random card instead of selected card ( And yes i checked it was my choice )
It’s pretty good. Solid card game as a base and a solid virtual adaptation. The mobile version is a little bit buggy though – the biggest issue being a bug where you’re unable to interact with anything. I’ve fixed the bug by minimizing and returning to the game, but it’s an annoying bug that happens relatively frequently, sometimes multiple times a match.
As someone that’s played magic for almost 20 years, this is trash. It’s absolute garbage. There is absolutely no way to win in ranked matched unless you actually spend money on this game. And because Magic is relying on its name, it doesn’t give a lot of option for free packs or free cards. This game is a pay to win game masquerading as a game of skill, where it hides all of its best cards and game changers behind a paywall. 1/10 Experience has made me even rethink playing physical MtG.
This game is obviously amazing, I’m just waiting patiently for a 2v2 format, or a commander standard and ranked system to be set up. Maybe add an arrow where the pets are, to help navigate you through several boards to allow more players to a single match. Maybe have the pets placed right where your player icon is located and have the cards hover above them? I would just love to play with all my friends instead of 1 at a time.
