App Features :

The app does search well. I really don’t care for the communication functions, though. It’s pretty basic, and it doesn’t allow you to send a photo of something which actually would be handy if you’re trying to ask your host about something or to bring something to their attention. Overall I feel the VRBO app has lots of hidden fees– What you see as the cost per night is not the cost once all the other fees are headed in.

The app works terribly for me. Shared links won’t do anything other than open the main page, adding and removing items to lists doesn’t work half the time, and it frequently loses my search to go back to the main page

If someone sends you a link to a property or trip, it will direct you to download the app. Even after you do, the link will not open in the app, even if you sign up for a VRBO account and log in. You also have no way to search in the app using the shortened link to the property. In other words, if you’re going along for a trip, you won’t be able to see what the place looks like until you get there, because the app creators have done no user experience testing.

Boards and trips don’t appear synced between the app and the web. Confirmed with some friends they are experiencing the same thing. Makes it pretty useless when switching between PC and the mobile app.

Great place. We came up for our anniversary and loved the cabin. Super clean and comfy. Great location. Sara was so easy to work with. Didn’t blink an eye when we asked to extend our stay by a day even though it was a last-minute request. Only downside is the water heater had a small capacity so showers are hit or miss. even that won’t keep us from renting here again.
