- Thanks for your feedback. We’ve just added the new Missions feature, which can earn you new cards and coins on top of the normal Campaign rewards. In general, we’ve designed Combat Cards to be played in several short sessions over the day, so even if you just grab your free card pack each time you can soon build up a good collection.
I want to give this game 4, maybe even 5 stars, but I just can not, for what can be boiled down to one reason: opponent strength. Both in casual, ranked and campaign, I’ve been facing opponents with decks that aren’t just filled with higher level cards, they also have more rare cards and more deck points (required to build a bigger deck). This makes the game incredibly poor to play, as you have no chance to win from the start. Until this has been addressed, I can’t give it 5 stars.
Really fun game, but the tournament decks get to be pretty ridiculous. I’ve seen decks almost 200 points higher than mine playing against me. Very lopsided and no amount of money could buy your experience lvl to counter that “not that I would spend that kind of money”. Love the collection and art work. over all it’s a fun game that I’ll continue to play.
The best card games are the ones that are simple to play but offer real strategy and deep customisation to your deck. And this offers everything you need and in a great universe of Warhammer 40k. If the game is updated regularly with new modes and cards added this has the potential to be a really good alternative to the usual meta of card games on mobile.
