Does a great job of what it’s supposed to, and Incredibly inexpensive, but there is definitely a bug, my two cameras will turn on randomly. Have not been able to figure out why that happens, I keep them turned off except for specific days when I manually turn them on. But at least once per week one of them will turn on for no reason. I only know it because I get sound and movement notifications out of the blue. That needs to get fixed pronto, I don’t like having live cameras going to somebody else’s server randomly turning on. I have to point them down at the ground in case it happens when I’m around!

The app is decent, although I’d expect better options for security such as setting up specific times for each day of the week, and maybe a vacation mode or profiles so you can switch automatically. Since it’s always connected to the phone, maybe even geolocation so when you’re gone, alerts are on! Also, you should get alerted immediately when detected, not AFTER the video is done being prepared. You should get a notification with the alert telling you the video is being prepared but have an option to click for an immediate live view.

Wyze is like the best camera money can buy. So easy to setup, so easy to use and the response time of the devs and the community as a whole is just insane! Always updating the app to make it better and better. I’m gonna go buy a few more as Christmas gifts! Cheers dudes! Congrats on one million units!

I recently upgraded from a Galaxy S7 to an S9 and now the Wyze app does not work. I am unable to login. I enter my email and password, press submit, and… nothing happens. I have two cameras and am currently unable to access them. Please fix this soon. Thank you.

Picture is fine and it works ok…when it works. Keeps losing connection and tells me to power cycle the camera which accomplishes nothing. Delete device and start new the camera fails to connect. Not my network for sure. Ok I was told it was a server issue. Must be having a lot of server issues as my connection is disabled every couple of days with no other issues on my network. STAY AWAY – TOTAL GARBAGE.

Absolutely love my cams. Only thing they need to improve is the mic feedback once you speak to the camera mic. That and having live feeds for all your cams on the main screen without having to click each can.

Update: intruder last night. Can’t connect to get the video. Not a Wi-Fi issue, either. Useless product. I own 8 of them unfortunately. Tech support was a waste of time. Only connects to the cameras about 30% of the time. Very frustrating. Does not matter what version of the Wyze camera it’s trying to connect to. My Nest doorbell camera has worked without any issues. I have been ripped off by Wyze.
