AuthPass user reviews :

I very much wanted to like this app, and I do in terms of the UI and usability, but unfortunately it suffers the same problem as another app I’ve tried to work with my Keepass files stored in Nextcloud – no offline access for when I don’t have access to Nextcloud. Sadly a show stopper for me.

  • If you are offline, it *should* use the latest cashed version please get in contact if this does not work.. or write in forum.authpass.app
Love this app! I’m having problems with the autofill service however. The prompt showed up as I’m writing this comment, which is obviously not a password field. I also reported another problem on GitHub. Can you change the way website icons behave so that we can change the automatically loaded icon to a custom one (once an icon is loaded from the web it can’t be changed, I have to turn it off for all icons. I want to keep it turned on, and only replace the icons that don’t look good.) Thank you

  • Thanks for your kind review. I have seen your GitHub issue. Unfortunately the Autofill APIs aren’t trivial and require a bit of tweaking. Please create another issue regarding changing of icons, to make followups easier. Thanks!

There are subscription based tools half as good, and this one is free, open source, and has cloud support. It’s getting polished everyday, and now I can say goodbye to Roboform and Lastpass. This does need some more polishing but it’s still in it’s infancy. At this point it’s fully usable offline, or using your own cloud service. Devs seem to be very motivated and really improving this daily. Will be happy to donate when the time will come. Looking forward to every update. Good luck devs!

Not all devices have fingerprint feature including mine, and I want to import ( .csv ) file from Bitwarden to Authpass I don’t know how to do that (if there is a way to import .csv file.)
  • CodeUX.design
  • Thanks for your feedback. You can use fingerprint to unlock the database, if you device supports it, this way you don’t have to enter the password every time. Re import, please post in the forum with an example file how you would like to import. Fwiw, you can use any other keepass compatible app to do the import.(btw, 1 star is not very encouraging)
New 1.8.2 stopped accepting password I set up for 1.8.1!? P. S. I exported db again now with the name without spaces, and now 1.8.2 works.
  • CodeUX.design
  • Hi, sorry for the troubles. But it is very unlikely that this is the cause. (all versions are even compatible with all other Keepass clients, so you could just as well open it with Keepass, or Keeweb, etc. so this doesn’t change from one version to another). What is the exact error message you? Please visit the forum or contact support to get help.

Excellent password manager under continuous development. I use AuthPass on all my devices, both Android and Apple and can keep my kdbx database synchronised via AuthPass Cloud. The developer gives immediate help with any problems or queries. Highly recommended.
