This app just gets better and better. The nextcloud server and app setup has completely replaced my google and onedrive instances. One small point though. You really need to fix the auto upload function as at the moment it will not upload over VPN. But this app is still worthy of 5 stars.
Auto-upload does not work. I have disabled battery optimizations for the app but it doesn’t auto-upload even while in the app. Does not work under any circumstance/setting. Can provide any further info requested to get this resolved.
Really handy app to have your files on the go. Still need polishing around the edges, but this is slowly happening. An amazing app from an amazing platform!

- Photo overview is a known limitation of server if there are too many. If server update notifications are configured for your user, then they should also be available as push and in notification overview.

- Samsung has special battery optimization settings. Have you disabled them / excluded our app from them?

- Can you open up an issue on github.com/nextcloud/android/issues/new, so we can discuss this a bit further. As mentioned previously we do not touch the content of the files, but just simply upload them, e.g. EXIF information should still be correct.

Really good and useful app, but IMHO still a work in progress. My issues with it so far (I don’t use the auto upload): (1) photos and videos must be downloaded completely before viewing. (2) multiple selection is one by one only, not even select all, certainly not click and drag. (3) files cannot be synced to arbitrary folders, only to app folder, and other apps (eg gallery) won’t see them. Update 2018-12-29: manual upload is broken, it just won’t do anything. Please fix!
Works great. Would suggest a change to the gallery tab to utilize a folder structure instead of loading every image. For a large number of images this takes forever to load and has no discernable structure.
