This is a dual-pane explorer, there are two folders shown at same time, and common operation such as copying files are done from one pane to another.
And X-plore shows folder hierarchy in a tree view for clear orientation and fast switching to other location.

SQLite database viewer
X-plore can show SQLite database files (those with .db extension) as expandable list of tables, each table containing list of rows and columns with database entries.
Main interaction is done by touch screen, clicking on folders or files to open files, or long-click to open context menu which contains options which can be done on particular clicked item, or multiple selected items.
Multi-selection allows to do operation on more files at once.
Opening file may mean to use one of built-in viewer for most popular file types: images, audio, video and text.
Or you may configure X-plore to use system application for opening files, in which case system-predefined application that can open particular file is launched.
Archives (currently supported are Zip, Rar and 7zip) are displayed as other folders.

The best app to have on any Android device…. Been using this for about 5+ years. Nothing fancy and does what it is supposed to perfectly. Every app has bugs now and then but this app has never disappointed and if there are any issues whatsoever they are pretty much very basic and can be ignored.
EASILY the best file manager on Android. Doesn’t matter what kind of user you are from basic needs to root features, encrypted file storage, wifi file sharing, more stuff than I can remember off the top of my head, this app has it and has for years. Favorite feature has always been the double-pane interface, it makes file transfers and keeping track of multiple things at once a breeze and makes moving through your file system faster than any other file browser I’ve used. And I’ve used a bunch.
If there is a better file manager available for Android I’ve not found it. Manage your files on your device, on other devices (windows or linux) on your network, on devices not on your network (by SSH), on Dropbox, owncloud, googledrive, WebDAV. Also allows WiFi sharing and features a secure “vault” where you can store sensitive files. Highly recommended.
