BitPay user reviews :

Ya know i was a little skeptical about bitpay but sure enough the simplicity of the app has been superb for my usage of the app. It has on several occasions saved my ass by being able to sell and transfer crypto from other platforms to my bitpay wallet where I can easily load my card and spend as cash anywhere. Also I can send money to my girlfriends with ease and they are so thankful. I love the security of the app and ease of the transaction. Thanks bitpay love the new card yolo!

You guys need to make it more clear on the APP that the new Mastercard shares the same exact balance as the virtual card MC. When I go to load funds the only one that is shown is “ADD FUNDS” to virtual card NOT the actual card. I assume many people where just as confused as I was. Also there is no option to load new cards on the the website like you could with the old visa cards. Their is literally no “add funds” button on site for new Mastercard just visa. And yes my card is fully activated.

It would be nice Tobe able to ask questions after installation instead of after actually setting it up. So I will ask here. Am I able to use more than one device here that will have my wallet on it. Why a phone would only have it does not make sense to me since they are lost, and stolen all the time so how does the recovery work? broken Have you gotten this@

  • Hello, Your wallets are backed up by your 12 word seed phrase. It is very important to keep a copy of these 12 words safe. You can import your wallet to a new device using these 12 words, and the same wallet can be used on multiple devices without issue. If you’re worried about losing the phone, make sure to use an encrypted password on the wallet.
It’s pretty good. User interface is at least acceptable, and the fee schedule is fairly accurate, although you can set your own fees too, which I like. Ports for Windows and Linux also exist, and I’ve tried them, but they’re basically the same thing and this one is the best because it feels in place, whereas the desktop versions try to emulate a phone. Ew. Coins are stored locally, although you can share your keyphrase between different platforms.

  • Thank you for providing your valuable feedback. There is actually Segwit support: 1. You can send to any bech32 native segwit wallet from any BTC wallet. 2. You can create native segwit wallets on Create Wallet -> Advanced Options -> Set Segwit to “true”. thanks!

I’ve been using bitpay for years now. Can’t really get easier than this; perhaps I’m just biased because I’ve been using it forever. As far as using the card goes, I have had issues with it in the past (I’m talking almost two years ago) at stores and the like. I’ve just received a replacement card and I’m really hoping integration with the app goes well. Would definitely recommend to anyone, especially if you use coinbase!
