How to play Chess Club?

Playing a real game of Chess has never been so easy. Simply install the free board game and start your journey to become the king of Chess! Select which color you want to start in: white, black or random. Define the difficulty level. Our engine offers 8 levels in total. Tap on the PLAY NOW button and start your game. The goal is to eliminate the pieces from your opponent and checkmate the King! It is very easy to play thanks to the amazing controls. You will see the possible moves you can make when you select a piece. When you are not happy with a move you made, you can Undo it. We also offer a Hint function in the Chess game, which will help you learn Chess and become a better player over time!

This is a great app, but really buggy. It frequently loses all me progress, for example sending me all the way back to the beginning for puzzles, or telling me I can’t play “hard” anymore because I need to beat “medium”. And as others have said, it often glitches when reviewing a match, especially when there was a pawn promotion. Please fix!

Insane difficulty curve; stupid AI at end game. No option to concede. On “beginner” level, the AI is very weak and make mistakes, crank it up 1 notch to “easy” and the jump is ridiculous. Only managed 1 win against the AI on level 2. The dial goes up to 10. Grand master!! When down to 2 or 3 pieces vs. 6 or 7 on the opposite side, there isn’t an option to ‘quit’ or ‘concede’, and then the AI forgets how to play and takes dozens of moves to finish me off. Could be so much better…!

The offline play is fluid & seems to be without issue. The computer plays well. However, I can’t use a 3d board & pieces on the 2d board are too fuzzy to make out on this Android phone. The device has clear resolution otherwise, but making out the chess pieces is like holding negatives up to the light & wondering what’s on them. I can’t see what piece is attacking me or if I’m moving next to a castle, king or pawn. It’s guesswork. I also had great difficulty getting out of the app to phone.

other than the annoying adds between games it’s a decent chess app especially if you aren’t very good and want to learn. the first two levels are super easy but then it bumps up

I get ads to support your app, but an ad between each match. Sometimes two. And if you left the game idle and then try to start a match, you get an ad. It’s a three because it’s Chess, so it does it’s job. But I don’t feel like waiting between matches. Oh yeah, I read some other reviews. Yes, it will just randomly call it a draw if you’re close to beating the AI.

Graphics are awesome, the game itself is top notch for me as a newbie Chess player. But I encountered a small problem/bug (maybe). For some reason in 3 games I wasn’t able to castle even tho I did everything right. The move itself wouldn’t happen. Other than that I enjoyed every single game. Thank you for your work
