Email Popup user reviews :

This app is handy for tablet users as a substitute for instant messaging, what you might call “instant emailing.” You can limit it to your contacts list.

Very use full app to quickly know about new incoming mail alerts.

  • Hello. The app should show all UNREAD emails in the pop-up. If you would like help debugging this issue please contact us at: support[at]maxlabmobile.com. Kind Regards.

Simple app. Serves the purpose – popup notification for emails.

Poppy doesn’t have much unless you pay pay pay for it. Get the enotify app you get much more for free

Does not appear to work on Nougat. It worked ok on Marshmallow but the pop up windows were not sophisticated enough. They are customizable but none really seem to impress. It did work though and filled a need.

  • Hi Troy. Poppy 2.0 has been built for AS7 [Nougat]. It is rolling out now and I can send you the beta link if you contact support. Beware, it has not been tested on Nougat. Nougat is high priority, but do not have time now. New Features: Block pop-up for specific apps, Password-less Gmail Login, Sound & Vibration options. Regards, Glen

Tried others and this one is the winner by far!

Complete popup solution for email. I think the only one of its kind I cud locate on G play. Provides all required functions. Suggestions: Replace text buttons with icons. Bring delete & mark read to popup interface from menu. That’ll make it more intuitive. In fact, by default, closing/swiping mail in popup shd mark it as read. Button shd be to keep it unread. Typed text doesn’t take line spacing & 1st letter doesn’t auto capitalise. Preset text shd only add to typed text, not replace. Great job, Glen.

  • Hi Yujwai. Thanks for the suggestions. I think that all your points are valid. Anything that reduces the number of interactions for common tasks is important. I’m not sure when I’ll next extend the app. It isn’t getting many downloads at the moment so it is difficult to justify putting more work into it at the moment. Regards, Glen

AWESOME, but…. …..make each individual email a pop up. That is to say each email requires action….one click doesn’t acknowledge all and close pop up. Also, add a delete button (so i can dump emails without going to the gmail app..one click) and this becomes a pay app. Those two things and i’d go 5-10 bucks for this app! SMS pop up for email, basically. Or….looking at the pictures, it may do that and i haven’t figured it out yet.

Great App Does what it says it would do for all my email accounts. Highly recommend.
