This app uses Pollfish SDK to deliver targeted surveys to its users. We reserve the right to use and disclose the collected, non-personal data, collected for better survey targeting and distribution by Pollfish. Pollfish may use demographic and geo-location information, previous collected answers, as well as information logged from your hardware or device to ensure that relevant surveys are presented to this app’s users. Pollfish may collect and use data, for such purposes, including (when available and authorized by app’s permissions or after user’s consent) but not limited to data such as IP address, Advertising ID, Network information, MAC address, IMEI, installed software, hardware type, Operating System information, previous users’ answers and others. Pollfish relates these data only after user’s consent. The foregoing data may be used and disclosed in accordance with this Privacy policy and the Privacy policy of Pollfish. Pollfish may display to you behaviorally targeted surveys.
If you wish to opt-out from Pollfish surveys you can do that by disabling advertising in your phone’s Google Account settings.

FIV detects ad blocking by looking at the /etc/hosts file and displays a warning message if Google or Admob server requests are being redirected to localhost. Some Cyanogenmod builds include a modified hosts file setup to block ads, so even if you haven’t installed an ad blocker program your device is blocking ads.

In the file explorer, long-press on the filename for the option to share the image (email, mms, etc) or set it as the background wallpaper.

FIV is great at viewing large black & white scanned images. Unique technology allows for incredibly fast decoding and readable scale-to-gray (anti-aliased) views. Navigate between pages/files in milliseconds even on less powerful phones.

FIV supports animated GIF, PNG and FLI/FLC in a unique way. See your files animate in the file browser and main window. Pinch zoom and pan while image is animating. FIV is able to view just about any image, but is also a competent animated GIF/PNG player.

Friendly GUI allows fast navigation between pages/files with simple swipe gestures and pinch-to-zoom.

Use FIV as a stand-alone file browser/viewer or as the default image viewer for email attachments etc.

FIV is capable of viewing well logs faster than any other software available. As an oil/gas/water well log viewer, FIV can open scans up to 80 x 300 inches (@400dpi).

FIV now includes the ability to export any file (e.g. multi-page TIFF) as a PDF file. It also allows you to save a page in another format (JPEG, PNG, PDF, TIFF, BMP).

The only difference between the free and paid version of FIV are the use of ads in the free version

Fast Image Viewer user reviews :

Great app But… It does its job well and is rather efficient but alas I still can’t open my picture of the andromeda galaxy curse you 69536 x 22230 px image lol but in all fairness it is almost a 2gb tiff image

  • FIV on mobile won’t try to open images beyond a certain size because they’re too big for the internal memory. The few cases where people (like you) have truly gigantic images require a different approach that loads part of the image at a time (very slow). I could write such a viewer, but there would be few customers
Quite good and handy. User interface just as I wanted. Wish it preload (and pre-render) pictures in background to have no pause at paging. Sometimes crashes, sometimes hogs all memory, but that’s not frequent.

  • Glad you like the latest version. It does preload next/prev page/file on another thread, but it still takes a fixed amount of time to decode photos. I’m still trying to find a repeatable scenario for why it crashes sometimes when paging too quickly.
Cant use features I am on galaxy tab s and i cant use the cropping or save as features. It only allows me to see tif files . SOLVED… THANKS TO DEVELOPER. ON NEWER SAMSUNG DEVICES HOLD DOWN WINDOW BUTTON TO SEE MENU. Thanks dev.

  • Newer Samsung devices seem to hide the context menu; try press-hold of the apps or home buttons. Let me know if that doesn’t work.
