Feedly user reviews :

Randomly locks on the startup screen, even on high-end smartphones. Today it stopped updating the feeds (the latest was from 7 hours ago). Anyway, this is not a bug report, but a review. It is (was) a fine application for news aggregation and my favorite for years, but it kind of stopped evolving. Oh, and Leo is useless.

Dear User, Could you please contact us via care+mobile[at]feedly.com? We’d love to hear more about this issue in order to assist you. Thanks!

This used to be a great app that was my main source of news. Recent updates have removed the ability to create more than 3 folders and made it a subscription-only feature. But by far the worst change is that the algorithmic feed is now forced on the user as the default when opening the app, with no option to switch it to the chronological one. Every time I open the app I have to click on the menu icon then on the “All” option. I’m seriously thinking about switching to Inoreader.

  • Hello! You can change the start page from your General settings: feedly.com/i/account/general, please use the web version for this, furthermore, when opening any feed you’re allowed to choose the sorting of the articles to make it chronological. Please contact us at care.mobile[at]feedly.com if you need further assistance. Thanks!

Excellent app. Not a big fan of having it recognise and tag things, it just adds visual clutter to the article and if i wanted clutter I’d go surf the original webpage the article came from. Having it tag “America” or “Europe” seems entirely useless, nobody needs help knowing where those are. Please let us disable this feature. Ditto for the Feedly AI stuff that gets inserted. “Feedly AI found”… Has Feedly AI found a reason yet why I might not be interested in what it found?

Since a recent update the selected theme is not always applied. I have set the night theme but in the morning when the OS reverts to day mode, the app also switches to day mode even though it is set to night mode Update: thank you for your answer!

  • Hello! We’re sorry for the trouble here, our team is now working on fixing this bug and it should be solved soon, apologies for the inconvenience. Thanks!
