The push to buy so you can advance in the game isn’t annoying, and I’ve been playing for 2 hours straight without seeing an ad! My main character is at level 17 so far, and I have plenty of gems, coins, and upgrade items. There are events, and tasks to collect from too! I’m surprised the bad reputation it’s getting. The set up could confuse those who’ve never played anything similar, but just follow the tutorial close and you’ll get the hang of it! A fun non-ad tower defense/rpgish game!
