[App] Google Calendar
Experience Google Calendar on devices running 4.0.3 or later.
Google Calendar app displays events from each of your Google Accounts that synchronizes with your Android device. You can also:
Create, edit, and delete events.
View all your calendars at the same time, including non-Google calendars.
Quickly email all event guests from a notification with a customizable message.
Known issues with HTC devices:
Day and week views may not work on some HTC devices.
Notes and pictures may be removed from all calendar events, but will still be available in HTC’s Notes app.
Local unsynced events may be lost after installing Google Calendar.
Notifications won’t make sounds unless HTC’s Calendar app is disabled.
Touching an email invitation in a mail app opens Calendar in the browser rather than the app.
Google Calendar user reviews:
apps works great it just need one more feature. i need to be able to import .ics files. that is how my office keeps me up to date. i know i can do it on the full site on a computer but who uses a computer anymore? I must be in the minority.
I prefer Google’s original (ICS) calendar because of its simple design. However I don’t like how the bar indicator on a day turns black in the month view, when there are more than one all day events on that day. Why not just display several bars? Either besides each other or one after another. Also I don’t like the new blue colour on the title bar oder the widget. Black fitted much better into a variety of designs and I guess more people were also more indifferent to the black version.
