Google Calendar user reviews :

Like many current Google products, it is limited and unintuitive, especially compared to other calendar apps (or any other apps for that matter) and the web version of Google calendar. Importing a file for example, requires the web interface. You must hunt this down though and it fails common sense tests (if basic create, read, update, and delete functionality isn’t obvious then it was poorly implemented). It’s been more than a decade.

I’ve been using Google Calendar for two years now and it’s damn amazing. What really makes it stand out is the way we can schedule time graphically with the easy interface inti different chunks of multiples of 15 mins. The only Improvement I would love to have is an option for setting a custom default template for events. The notification is set by default at 30 mins before event and it becomes hefty when planning days of content, having to change each of them manually.

Overall the app is good. I would like to put important events on the calendar so I simulated what it would be like to have the app fail or resemble what a phone failure would look like. Besides the phones notification history, the app does NOT recover your missed event notifications. So having important events on a digital platform is a failure no matter the app because there will always be a potential issue of receiving important information.

Great app, as you expect from Google, feature rich and nicely designed. Just one little thing to mention in this respect: week number display is awful, not minimal nor correctly integrated. This is a very useful bit of information for me, but I’ve decided to memorize them instead of showing them because they ruin the look and feel of the app.

About 2-3 months ago, I couldn’t move my schedule by dragging. This function is available on other Android devices. It’s a feature that I’ve used frequently so far, so I’d like to be able to use it again. Here is an additional note. The reason I couldn’t move the schedule by dragging was because I had the accessibility of another app turned on. After turning it off, I was able to move the schedule without any issues. Thank you for the best app!

  • Hi Yuki. You can drag and drop events in Day view, 3 Day view, and Week view. Also, you can submit your feedback directly with our product team here: goo.gle/37YOQmJ. Appreciate it.

Decent but missing features. Having a five day work week repeat option would be a good start. Sharing your whole calendar with someone instead of just events Update 4/24: they added the repeat option! The first bug they need to with on is the weekday repeat option does not propagate when set to repeat every week for a set number of occurrences. It defaults to days, even if it’s scheduled to repeat on a weekly basis. My mon-fri block was set to repeat for eight weeks, only displayed 8 days.

It works I guess. Has a lot the regular Google calendar features, but you need to go to the website for a lot of things like making a new calendar or sharing calendars. Also, you are unable to scroll vertical with connected months, as far as I can tell. This makes it confusing when trying to look at dates between months, as I have to find my place again. I often look at the same week again.

BEST TOOL FOR MANAGING MY ADHD I HAVE EVER FOUND!!! I can’t express how much this app has helped. As a working actor, I have a lot of appointments. This calendar with its color coding feature makes it impossible for me to miss or double book an appointment. My bills get paid on time as well as my multiple subscriptions. I’m a Gen X, so the 80s and 90s were tough on people like me. I’m so happy to live in this time of such great technology.

Impressive app. I wish I could book appointments and edit them on my phone. That functionality is currently limited to a computer. I hope this can be worked on. Also, I need more repeat booking options for appointments. The only option currently available is ‘repeat weekly’. I want to be able to repeat appointments every 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 weeks. It would be great if there was a custom repeat option. Kindly look into this. Thanks

Decent app. Works well for event reminders, but it is annoying that it automatically clears the notification on my phone once the event is over. That makes it so I can’t easily set a reminder for a non-time-specific thing. I refuse to even click on the task button, because I should just be able to tell the app to give me a notification without telling it why. Additionally, it is way more complicated than it needs to be; there are way more options than I will ever need.
