This is a very good game and the card mechanics are really awesome. The only bad things about this game are the matchmaking and the RNG that works mostly in favor of the AI. When you participate in events, if you are at the beginning you will always be matched with people level 60 while your planeswalker is around level 20, making impossible to win and get some rewards and progress in the game. Regarding the AI luck, there were games where i waited almost 45-60 seconds for the AI to finish his turns, because all the balls were dropping in his favor, getting extra turn after extra turn.

I like the core mechanics: a mix of MTG and Match 3, very nice. But the rest of the game, duh… it’s just ugly: 75% of time you are staring at that spiny thing loading something. I understand that the game syncs user profile with the cloud, but that should be a discreet background process, not a flow breaker. Devs should hire someone with a decent understanding what UX is and why it is important. UPD: Ok, minus one more star for the useless copy-paste reply.

The gameplay has gone from simply playing a iconic character from the world of MTG, to random things flash on the screen for 5 minutes then you die. I hardly ever see my opponent playing any characters anymore, it’s a bunch of spells on loop for 5 minutes. And to make things worse– they don’t even have a individual crafting or trade! You want a card? Hope you get it. Spoiler, you probably won’t. Been playing this game since it was released and I’ve only ever gotten one card I actually wanted..

My initial, long term, 4-star review used to read, “More fun than I expected”. Now, thanks to the developers inconceivably ridiculous cards, like Omniscience, the game is no longer fun. I hope they reach out to me so that I can send them the battle log of a recent match. I’d love to hear the explanation of how such cards are “balanced”. Be aware also that the game is prone to locking up. It occurs probably once every 30 to 35 matches. The only way out is to end the match.

Very fun This is one of the best puzzle games I have played. The mix in of MTG makes it more of a challenge which is what a lot of games are lacking these days.

Fun I really enjoy this game. However, it’s hard to tell what some of the abilities do. I play MtG, so I can kind of take a guess at what they do, but what about someone who’s never played the card game and just wants to play a casual puzzle game? Regardless, I find this game really enjoyable.

Love it!! I’ll be adding a very positive YouTube review on my channel “Dweller in the Cellar”. SOON!! I’ve been a Magic-The Gathering fan//player for almost 20 years. I’ve loved the game, and the artwork since I first got involved. I’m so glad I came across this game!!
