A tale of “justice” woven by girls whose fragile hearts verge on shattering…
There are girls who many call “witches.”
Although they themselves are ordinary, they can wield slightly extraordinary powers.
However, when calamity spreads throughout the land, witches begin to be feared and detested.
Before long, the Church of Longinus commenced what would be known as “The Witch Hunt.”
“Witches are to blame for this calamity. If we kill them, then the calamity will vanish along with them!”
Witches are executed one by one.
But one day, as madness seizes control of the world, it is suddenly overrun by “Curses.”
A country incinerated by hellfire. A kingdom consumed by crystals. An empire purged by the Tree of Life.
Such are the woeful desires of those who are called “Witches of Qlipha.”
Without any means to defend themselves, nation after nation falls into ruin, until finally—
The fractured land is sent adrift high into the sky.
Meanwhile, the people have yet to take notice.
From within these girls cursed to be witches, there emanates glimmers of hope.
In order to save their decimated world, these girls set forth liberating the land from darkness.
For they believe that it is the right thing to do…

MementoMori user reviews :
Game is absolutely beautiful. The art is beautiful, the voice overs are incredibly well done and breathe life into the characters’ stories, and the music is second to none. To elaborate more on the music, each character that I’ve looked at has a “lament” that you can download which is a unique song that accompanies their backstory. My only complaint is that every backstory damn near breaks my heart. Like a little girl who was abandoned but convinced herself that she’s just lost.
Memento is overall a terrific game. It allows you to play at your own pace – literally – with 1,2,4x combat speeds and an option to completely skip combat if you want/need. The water-color animation is beautiful as is the music. I have the battle music stuck in my head right now actually. The characters are all female but aren’t cringy like a lot of these games. For critiques I’d say the combat doesn’t feel very deep. The characters don’t seem very unique. It’s not awful but could do better
Beautiful art and music, plus good voice actors for jp that is. Aside from those, this game is pretty boring. Since it’s afkrpg, there isn’t much gameplay, if any at all, the only thing you do is upgrade your characters and gears. And it’s not really afk since you still have to navigate the menu and select missions. Battle is bland, you don’t do anything, just look at the art of the girls when they use skills, and windmills for some reason. Also, there is no main story/scenario which is weird.
