Love the game! It’s definitely worth a try! Although it kind of saddens me that the game overall seems incomplete in some areas(mostly the various storylines/side stories) also that, although it does have a variety of ships you can buy at port or capture at sea there are some ships that need specific situations to capture, needless to say it is frustrating. Also you guys should’ve added a ship of the line class in the game a really big missed opportunity right there. Anyways, Thank you.

The game is good and I’ve been playing this game since 2022 redownloding it again and again but the thing is even if you go for fountain of youth the game will eventually end and it always says that you have retired or something and you have to start again lossing all your progress which is a downer so if they make the game endless so you can take all the city’s,that would be fun any way the price of gems in La Havana went through the roof  have fun.

Wonderful game, but the amount of wasted potential makes my cry every time I play it. One of the rare games that focus on writing and gameplay, and are not a cashgrab by any means. I wish the dev would continue the project in the current format – Pirates and Traders 2, along with it’s new UI feels cheaper and waaaaay less polished than 1, with a lot of mechanics being replaced for no reason, UI being downgraded etc. Also, it needs more content and bug fixes.

Jumped right in and loved it. At first it’s hard to get a good grasp on the game but the hints really do help and I still suck at playing but it’s really fun and feels like you can do anything you want. Controls are simple and everything is easy to follow along whenever you enter a port. I love the gameplay and attacking ships can seem hard or weird but it’s really fun with the music and being able to decide what you want to do.

Took me a while to get the hang of this, but once i did i enjoyed it. Even ended up being forced to retire on one game. if you’re not trying to be a war monger and just want money, you can “distance” yourself from other ships. if you attack you will have fewer ports you can visit. (can be pardoned though some times.) Also don’t buy weapons, and until you get more cunning, don’t buy jewels. More likely to get arrested. Enjoy!

-60% reduction is a double negative which is only good for the merchants, so it should only say 60% reduction. Also, when capturing a ship and start taking their cargo, the writing to explain their value etc. is coloured white and so it is very difficult to read. Please fix these issues for 5 stars.

Very well made. It is missing alot of quality of stuff but that’s besides the point. Point is this game is really fun when you give it an honest try. Loved it. It’s a sort of choose your own adventure type of game with a few roguelike elements were anything can happen at any time. If you have the time and patience then this is the right game for you.

I love that there’s a mobile version of Sid Meier’s Pirates! I love The Princess Bride references to Westley even more!!! I’m having trouble getting started because of what look like bugs. If I try to attack ships, it goes badly, no matter what build. If I go to a wealthy port and buy a lot of the stuff that is supposedly cheapest, I can’t find anywhere to sell it for profit, also no matter what build. With physicals maxed out I couldn’t even win a drinking contest.
