Shades user reviews :

Awesome game. There’s just one problem. Since the last update, if you hit an opponent mid-air, while rolling or lying on the ground, he’s suddenly back on feet as if he didn’t jump / roll / fall in the first place. I don’t know if this was intentional, but I preferred when you could thwart their attacks and they would fall. If you could just fix this, everything would be fine. Thanks!

I cannot really recommend you this game, it is grindy and it keeps getting stuck so I have to close the game and open it again and it can be so frustrating for example once every 7 days you get a challenge and a decent reward but if the game decides to close then I have to wait another 7 days just to play the challenge. It is unplayable but it wasn’t always like this

This game is great, I really love it, the scenery is stunning and the gameplay is on another level. The thing is that what could be a game changer is a confirm Shade, like double click to get the respective Shade because I think I’m speaking for a lot of players (might be wrong) that simply picked a Shade without even realising or misclicked, which can ruin a good run. 4/5 stars, keep up the good work!

Since the Sep 28 update, the fighting feels weird. 1. Enemys barely fall without critical hits and when they fall, they teleport back to standing once hit on the ground. 2. Don’t know if it’s because of the weapon i use (kusarigama), but my hit box is way too big. This isn’t even exaggerating. Enemies often hit the air in front of me, and it still counts as hit. They can even hit the weapon without coming close to me and it still counts as a hit. The last update made the game a lot worse.

Love the visual art, and I really like the Shades. But there are so many things wrong with this game that it’s so difficult to play. There are frame spikes, your moves can be unresponsive, and AI can be unnecessarily difficult, but when it’s not difficult, the AI is unnecessarily strong, it’s damage is through the roof no matter how many times you upgrade your armor. I also hate the fact that you don’t heal after every battle and that it’s only 60 seconds each round, unlike 90 seconds in SF2.

It has so much potential, and I really love the idea of SF sequel, but after over a month I’ve encountered issues. The difficulty is greatly increased (crazy AI). On top of that, 62 seconds is really not enough. I also keep getting stuff I don’t need or nothing at all after a fight. This drastically slows the progress and ruins the overall experience. The healing room is unlogically given when I have full health and hitbox is sometimes off (especially throwing weapon). Could be better when fixed

I love the new duel mode. Now that characters don’t ragdoll when hit while airborne took a bit to get used to, but overall I think it’s fine. HOWEVER, The fact that Cleric, Lynx and other specific boss type enemies cannot have their abilities inturrupted completely defeats the purpose the new gameplay change. I feel like the new change should punish players for playing passiviely. Instead players are punished for playing aggresively when the boss suddenly becomes intangible.
