The Oregon Trail: American Settler is free to download and play. You will collect virtual currencies called “Coins” and rarer “Cash” as you play which you can use to care for your town or buy in-game items, energy, and resources. If you don’t have enough virtual currency to buy an item, restore energy, or perform an action, you can choose to earn additional currency gradually over time as you play the game, or purchase additional virtual currency with real money. In-app purchases range from $1.99 to $99.99. You can restrict in-app purchases by adjusting your User Controls in your Play Store settings.

Great game to play to kill time. Really fun as well, lots to do within the game.
*EDIT* Everything is crashing now. Can’t access map without crash. Cannot connect with friends or even access other towns (even the generic one now) without crash. Super sad it’s all going downhill! :( * Love the game, but I’ve basically reached the end. Never been able to connect with friends or Facebook. Would l love to be able to keep buying land and expanding. :( I have supplies that I can’t share, buildings with no room to build. No more messages or challenges.
I’m a return player of this game. I feel like this game is the only game where you can actually play the full game without having to spend your own money, or tons of it. A few suggestions would make game play even better, & that would be to turn buildings (like you can fencing), be able to exchange coins for cash, once you get to the higher levels you’re making tons of coins but really nothing to do with it. Also, instead of requiring FB friends, be able to visit other players towns.
Just like everyone else, I can’t log in to FB to add friends or to visit the neighboring town. I want to invite new ppl to play, but can’t. No new maps are downloading. When I click on the building the app closes. Please fix these issues for us! I love this game, but if these issues aren’t fixed soon (I’ve had the FB issue for MONTHS now & the maps issue for about a week, so far) I’ll just have to give up and uninstall it. With those issues fixed, I would upgrade my rating to 5 stars.
The Facebook visit friends option breaks ALL the time… it’s an important part of the game as it gives you hearts. The map has been broken for years. Makes me think that many of these bugs are the game taking down portions so they can make more $$ forcing people to buy money within the game. I’ve lost interest in this game.
I’m glad it’s not my FB security issues, I’ve tried to fix everything I can. Extremely frustrating when you can’t complete tasks because of it. Fix the Facebook issue, or create a way we can share a link to people to become friends
Very fun. My only question is how do you get more land?
Great Great game but can’t access network content due to FB log in error which seems to be a common problem. You can play solo and have fun but would be 5 star game if they fixed the FB issue.
