Issues with the login page on stand alone from phone “submit” button is not displayed for me on the phone… That suggest a rescale issue with rezolution under 1080p…i have a Xperia xz1compact…720p display. So you cannot log in…you can input thw user and password…but the submit button is not displayed I will increase the rating once this critical(for me at least) issue is fixed. But for now i cannot used it with my phone…not all of us have phablets

I have installed the app and used it with a standalone AP Lite AC first, without a controller and it worked great. Setup was extremely easy and I had WiFi running in a matter of minutes (too easy for me, actually). I installed the controller software on a local machine and then I had so many options that I did not look back at the standalone setup again. App is working nicely, I just wish that more of the web UI features were implemented in the Android app. I love the devices you make. The app has worked very well so far, please do not break it :)

Several functions in stand alone are not working or not available: – trying to change the SSID for 5G results in app restart and no change in SSID – firmware update is not working, it show up as starting the update but nothing more – cannot change the IP. LE. After firmware update of the AP, through desktop UniFi software, the 5G SSID can be changed in stand alone mode. Thank you Jakub for support.

Nice UI, snappy – Simple and intuitive – A change of colour pallette for some buttons would be nice, they sometimes blend in and can’t really see them/use them (like the Spectrum Scan)

Easy to use and setup, but less functions, isn’t possible to set auto for 5ghz to have possibilities to switch between 80 or 40 according to the client, I’m waiting for new functionalities

Hello. Starting with previous update of UniFi android app, I can no longer find the public IP address of USG, details about WAN are no longer available/displayed. Any ideas why? L.E. Thanks for your support. The mobile app now shows the WAN IP again :)

Was working fine. Then the APs showed an update to 6.0.something available. Loaded the update and things seemed ok. Next day, today, it will intermittently show the devices, but won’t connect. Shows “unknown error” Not the quality I expect of Ubiquity.
After managing to move my old unifi AP from a previous controller (which took me while) into my new dream machine controller, the rest was smooth sailing. The app gives you most of what you need in the pocket. Interestingly you can only reboot the dream machine from the phone app not the web browser in a pc. So just for that is a must.
Good.. relatively simple to use and generally works well Been using this app for years now, i dont understand the negative reviews, obviously its never going to be like the web setup for the controller, or logging into a cloudkey from a pc, but it does help with general management and standalone setups.. which is helpful for some of my clients that dont require a full unifi setup..
