Important notes about VideoLan VLC Versions:VLC 2.0.1: (NOT RECOMMENDED)
* Requires extra steps for connecting to android. Check out this step by step connection guide:

* It has h264 codec broken. Often makes VLC crash when streaming to android.
* It has a bug that makes the video rebuffer every 60 seconds. To solve this problem check out this: hxxp://vlcdirect.blogspot.com.ar/2012/03/every-60-seconds-playback-stops-and.html
If you experience problems connecting VLC Direct Pro Free with VLC 2.0.1 or you see VLC 2.0.1 crashes when streaming videos or music to Android please install VLC 1.1.11 which works like charm.

VLC Direct Pro supported formats: avi, flv, mp4, mp3, mkv, wmv, jpg, mpeg, mpg, rmvb, m4v, mov, 3gp, ts, vob. (Some videos in these formats might not work because sometimes VLC can’t transcode them into an android supported format -mp4 or 3gp-)

Great for streaming between my pc and android. Only downside is in won’t work as great on vlc 2.01. So, for those that want to use VLC Direct Pro app, I recommend using vlc version 1.11 instead.
