Dear Neowiz Games, I truly love your game! The story, music, character design, and turn-based battles are all fantastic. However, I’d like to mention a few areas that need polishing. Daily missions occasionally fail to reset, character splash displays the wrong character, and some areas experience FPS drops. Please address these issues to improve the overall experience. Thank you.
The story is actually pretty nice. For me, it’s up there with another Eden and sdorica. The voice acting and translation are great. I like the art, and the gameplay is tactical, unique to me, and fun. The downsides are that it still disconnects on me every now and then, a lot of actions take a little while to load, and I sometimes get stuck loading
Great game so far in comparison to the 1st one. Love the voice acting, the addition of skill animations for each character, the art style, the environment. My only complaint is not being able to skip some the slow animations for pickup up items, upgrading characters, and cooking. I can see some qol changes in the future, so I’ll keep playing for right now.
I went into this expecting the battle mechanics to be more or less the same, just with updated graphics. Battle has been drastically simplified, and has lost much that made it unique and challenging. The characters, too, have been simplified (mechanics-wise), and now have a “basic” attack and a “skill” that, in the first game, was their base attack. They’ve also lost their special abilities, like Seir’s quirky shield curse. If you’re going into this expecting the same thing, don’t.
A really good story so far, and the way they broke down each story arc is very unique. It reminds me of Octopath Traveler’s mobile game, but more refined. The graphics are great, the dialogue is very immersive, and I cannot express how much I LOVE the fact you can choose between horizontal or vertical orientation (every mobile game needs this feature).
Great game. I can see how the developers built on the foundation of the original. The combat mechanics allow for more flexibility, the graphics are consistent with the previous entries and they even reference classic characters… there have been some technical difficulties (nothing I couldn’t fix by refreshing) but the dev team has been fixing issues that appear quickly and effectively.
The game has great bones. Beautifully illustrated scenery, passable story, and a good tactical combat system. It’s unfortunately hampered by server slowdowns and the choice to put individual skills behind gatcha. The vast majority of characters have only one skill which should be improved as more banners come out, but makes the strategy of the game feel pretty empty beyond a few main story characters. It’s probably worth playing through the main story then dropping, maybe come back at some point
The game seems fun enough, but its totally unstable. I’ve lost count of how many times its crashed on my phone. The items I try to get from the store never arrive. The game constantly speaks of a payment error for something I never tried to make, and becomes unstable, and then it crashes. There are false identifiers in the menus. Saying something is of interest in the inventory, even tho theres not. It often gets stuck half way through a story dialogue. Forcing you to hit auto narrate..ect!
