I use this a lot, mostly from my Chromebook, but reading is generally on my samsung tab. The app is very easy to use or, if you need more features, the web version does the honours for you.

App is fine. However, everytime I add an image to a line, the app crashes due to a “bug”. Doesn’t say what it is, just to update it once the developers have a fix.

I just wish the sheets wouldn’t randomly switch to view only on mobile, forcing me to go to my pc to edit a sheet. Edit: two years later and alot of cursing later but I’m still having the same issues. Gonna probably look for something else at this point

Need to add the ability to change account from within a sheet or be logged in with all accounts on your phone. If you open a sheet from a link it doesn’t always open it with an account that has access to it.

This is soo good! I’m able to organize my things bcs it’s so easy to use! (at first, i don’t think so but as you get to use the app more, it makes you understand the purposes of those tools!) I rlly love it.

Issues with light / dark mode.. Works fine in dark mode.. When light mode is selected, app stays in dark mode and all the text is not visible.. Checked system settings. Everything’s fine.. But issues is still there…

I must say that I’m amazed how after what is soon two decades of development, this app still lacks most of the features you really need to be productive on mobile. I recently had to update a Google spreadsheet in a pinch while on mobile, and I just couldn’t do half the things I needed to do (and the other half took much longer than it should). I guess Google has abandoned all efforts to compete in the office productivity space.

The people complaining about it becoming a standalone app from drive just must not see the convince and speed of having one tap to get too a document vs the several going through drive. Great for tablets, creates a more desktop like experience. More features would be nice though…

While I was confused at first as to why separate apps were developed for Sheets and Docs, I quickly came to embrace the benefits. This is great for people who use Drive for both Sheets and storage; when you want to work, no longer must you sift through your stored files to find the Sheet you want to work in. The Sheets app is also much lighter and therefore faster than Drive. I would still love to be able to view my Sheets by folders, but…OFFLINE EDITING!

I agree this app is awesome but why do there have to be QuickOffice, Drive and then this for editing docs.? Why cant Google people merge all of these in one app. Why so much clutter when this all can be summed up in one app.
