Great Conqueror 2 Shogun user reviews :

Pros: 1. Stunning portraits for generals. 2. Tenkabito mode is fun and different. 3. Unit types are (mostly) balanced well, which kind of surprised me from an ET game. Cons: 1.The gameplay gets boring quickly, lacking excitement. 2. Dialogue is bad, with terrible lines that didn’t help with the game’s already boring gameplay. 3. Missions are way too easy, missing the challenge that makes games fun. 4. Bugs and clunky mechanics. While I could provide more details 500 word limits me from doing so.

This game is a letdown from the massive improvement of European War 7. I started the game yesterday, and there are numerous nice mechanics that are gone, such as the option to replenish troops in cities. Now you actually have to use rations, which is not easy to get. The theme, the music, and the missions are pretty mediocre. There are plenty of other things I don’t like, but im not going to get into full details. To simplify, the game feels like a setback and unfinished.

I have always been a Easytech fan and this game has not disappointed. The game play is amazing and it was a significant improvement to the original showgun game. I do find that when dealing with all the generals and troops, you could dumb down the system. It can be overwhelming at some points. Overall, this game is enjoyable and fun to play. The reason it is only 4 stars is because the conquest mode keeps kicking me out the game. If this is fixed then 5 star review is coming this way.

Easytech fan from 2016, the game has some potential but it needs to be completed before release. I dont mean a newly release game needs to have all chapters, etc. However, at least be playable. Conquer mode always stuck, unplyable. Conquest tutorial needs work too. Flanking and surronding enemy troops have effects but never state explicitly in tutorial… last mode is good tho, better than their previous expedition system.
