Kryss is the new, highly addictive game that lets two players test each other’s imagination and vocabulary!

The turn-based game is developed from the idea of transforming the traditional crossword solution – old school Scandinavian style – into a game where you compete against each other in the same crossword puzzle.

You receive five letters each turn, then strive to place the letters in the crossword within a minute. There are several ways of out-scoring your opponent, including significant bonuses for completing words, for getting key letters right or for using all your five letters within a round.

Then again: it might just pay off to keep one of the crucial letters for later use – when the stakes are higher.

Kryss has the element of randomly awarded letters in common with other classic word games.

But Kryss is faster, and it offers a logic and gaming experience which makes it feel like no other pastime you ever engaged in. It is pure yoga for the brain, meditation for the mind, and vocabulary training in a game, all the while being so easily accessible that it is loads of fun for both young and old.

The boards are interesting and it is one of the best built games of this type but it is often unfair and becomes frustrating as you can lose a game that you played perfect, while the opponent just had the luck to get the letters for finishing longer words (that you struggled to build) or to get the bonus letters. This should be changed in order to reflect better the abilities of the players rather than their luck.

It’s a great game, but it has a lot of downsides. It annoys the hell out of me that you only get 3 boards per day. Meaning if you want to play, you don’t get a lot of time on the app. Even if you buy boards, they go fast… Another downside is it consumes a lot of ram and the phone heats up like crazy – all thanks to the animations I could do without, honestly

This is my #1 daily game and love it. I’ve been playing this game for over a year and even purchased a whole years subscription without ads. Now that my subscription is up I don’t mind the ads but there’s an ad banner covering up the scores on top. This sucks cause I can’t see if I’m winning or not nor can I see how many coins or games I have left. Its annoying, please remove that.

Good game and keeps fresh your English vocabulary, but do not spend a single dime but shockingly poor and frustrating as on this. As far as the performance goes it is awful. It clogs your memory and freezes, very slowly. So often you miss your move because the game stalls. You need to constantly reload the game, close other apps and use memory cleaning software. And on top of that I have noticed that also 60s ads started appearing. Truly disappointing and makes you waste a lot of time to play.

I really like the game. The glitches are becoming too much. I purchased a game package but several of my games are lost in the cyber world. I’ll send a challenge, a game will be deducted but no game appears. That’s happened several times. Or the computer will stop playing mid game. Not wasting my money anymore.

I have loved this game since I came across it, but there seems to be so many bugs in it now. Update: Thank yous bunches for fixing those annoying bugs. Now tell me why I can’t play the game unless I invite friends (which I’m not going to), or I buy more boards. I have no problem watching the videos, but I do have a problem spending money I don’t have on something I don’t need. So disappointing.

I love playing this game! But, the past couple of weeks, my play is interrupted by a website opening in my browser. Very irritating! I have tried blocking pop-ups in my browser, DuckDuckGo, to no avail. This may happen anywhere from 1 – 3 times in each game! They never pop-up in Chrome. I do not want to stop using g DuckDuckGo do to this issue. I really don’t think it’s an issue with my browser, but it’s an issue with the game
