App was great years ago when I installed it. Nice interface and off line maps were great. I have now updated my phone numerous times. But the app hasn’t kept up. Maps are out of date. Some new roading shows up but are not routable. These are roads which have been in operation for over a year. Come on update the maps so it is useful once again.

It’s a very good app. One thing which needs corrections is that the estimated time of arrival needs to be more realistic. If we compare Google maps with this app, time given by Google map is very realistic. For a destination of say 500 kms, an error of 2-3 hours of ( on + side)can be expected which is too high of an error. Also, for Indian conditions, live traffic is not seen on maps..if these 2 suggestions are incorpora, the app will be best or even better than Google maps for highways.

I have used Tom-Tom (bought in The Netherlands) for more than ten years and have now switched over to NavFree. It would crash on my old Galaxy 1, but works buttery smooth on my HTC One. I tested it on my cross-European holiday and then bought the paid version. The map colours are not the standard European colours, but this is just getting used to it and is not in any way difficult. It is extremely accurate and precise. Maps of all major countries of the world are available FREE for download.

i m using it for 7 yrs. good improvememts. one more to go: the location arrow ober the middle of the screen leaving only 1/4 of the screen to use as a road ahead. if you position the location arrow on the bottom you could make ample space to see forward. you not interested what you left, still at the moment, half of the screen shows that. also followup stops when zoom. no good.

This app is so close to being everything I ever wanted for navigation. OSM, with contacts & 3rd party address search, shortest & alternate routes available, speed limit, current road as well as next turn displayed, zoom buttons. Detractions: long loading time and often crashes when switching apps. Also, sadly, while the company appears to still be active with review responses, development & map updates are extremely sparse. Last update was 15 months ago. Would love to be able to add a star or 2

This app is for drivers who prefer simplicity over gadgets and toys. If you are going straight from Home or Work to a family or a friends address with no stops inbetween its a perfect app. It loads a route quick, the routes are suddenly there, it sends you on your way quick, it gives you exactly the same google-map traffic times and choices of routes like Google mapping does. Its simple, it does what the tin says, and it works. For advanced Fuel stops, POI’s, Hotels, Use google maps instead.

Absolutely love this navigation app. After testing for a few weeks, I have now uninstalled Waze and paid for some of the upgrades. It’s one of the few maps apps that you can set for motorhomes, trucks, etc. One thing I feel is missing is being able to categorise favourites which would be useful for marking places to visit, places we can park our dayvan etc but that’s the only thing I have noticed as a possible negative.
