There’s an issue with hidden space: on the home screen, open an app. Once it opens, return to the home screen by pressing the home screen button (or by using gestures if enabled) and quickly slide outwards with two fingers on the home screen to access hidden space (you have to be fast). Enter your credentials or use your fingerprint to pass the security check. Instead of showing you the contents of hidden space, it will bring you back to the previously opened app.
Let’s talk the new shelf, with its static, non adaptive to the weather, weather background. Why is it so difficult to add an option to switch to a plain color, or make it transparent? And also, why are memos still not editable? This is a great launcher, one I’ve had great experiences with, but it is now ruined by a horrendous shelf.
After the last update I’m unable to slide from the middle of the display when on home screen the notification drop-down menu. Please solve this fast because it is a must. Also please add to navigation bar a button for dropping the notification menu. Please test more before release, it’s not that hard. Thanks!
Compared to Samsung and iPhone it leaves much to be desired. One Plus tends to hide files even when viewing hidden or system files as well… I’m not a fan-UPDATE, actually it’s 2 stars but the fact you can add multiple users by default with NOP’s OS makes it 4, launcher is a big part of that if we consider best compatibility. I can live with the child-proof looking launcher when it comes with accessibility for multiple users… Only one phone and text log is kept for all though.
I noticed after the OnePlus Launcher update there is a bug which switches the navigation gesture from navigation gestures (bottom) to navigation Gesture (left and right). I can also see the white bar at bottom of my screen, which shouldn’t happen if I’m using the bottom gesture. How can we fix this? After recent November update. Recent apps window gives me app icons which are left behind even after clearing all my apps.. Along with few seconds delay, lag and some kind of ghosting.
Recent update has ruined the shelf. Weather on background is static and simply ugly. At midnight, it shows sunny… It should be dynamic and should update the background as time progresses throughout the day. There is no option to disable weather either. 3 star for keeping the launcher fast and simple. Changing the rating to 4 star. Thanks for listening OnePlus. Weather status is now dynamic and much pleasant to view.. launcher needs refinement as it stutter sometimes while flipping the pages.
