[App] Screen Filter
Far more powerful than Android’s built-in brightness setting. Great for low-light gaming, web browsing, and eBook reading. It even saves battery life for AMOLED displays!
Widgets: Easy access to preset brightness levels.
Tasker/Locale Plug-in! Set brightness based on time/place/etc. To disable, configure for 100% brightness.
Brightness slider uses logarithmic scale for fine-grained control.
Drag the app icon to your desktop to use for toggling on/off.
Prompts to confirm very low brightness settings.
Option to disable soft-key backlight (does not work on all phones).
If you accidentally make your screen go BLACK
1. Pull your battery or (Nexus7) hold power button for 10 seconds
2. Uninstall the app to reset your bad brightness setting
3. Reinstall the app and use it normally again

Screen Filter user reviews :
Used to love it Had this on all of my past phones and loved it but it makes the screen on my galaxy s3 look like there’s shadows and you have to turn the phone at an angle to see anything regardless of the settings. :( disappointed because its always been so good!
Great! I use this app very often.. and is simple and useful. I just have one concern. It’s about the Amoles screen, will it have burn or long term effects if I continue to use this on prolonged durations? Thanks!
Attention! Screen Filter app is pretty nice, one problem-if you cannot click on “Install” button, when trying install some app from ad card, an button does not work aka “frozen” – just disable screen filter, and everything gonna be ok. I have emailed to developer for this bug, but …! Other than that, app it’s a superior!
