UPDATE: Advanced arena is a trash. -1 star. Good: very pretty, interesting characters that hint at a bigger world, multiple ways to get past a challenge Bad:…until you hit a wall. Then you need a lot more resources and it becomes a pay-to-play. Less random would be good, and a way to direct growth instead of draw and pray. I wish the power Levels were more useful–I never really know if I’m going to win or lose. In short: good pretty game you’ve played before until you can’t play anymore.

It’s a great game early on. Once you reach a certain point/level in the game, the DEMAND FAR EXCEEDS THE SUPPLY. Leveling up your gear, runes, and heroes becomes impossible as a free-to-play user. It is not a user-friendly game, either. There’s hardly any explanation on what specific stats do. Role descriptions are nearly identical and becomes very confusing, differentiating them. A typical copy&paste gacha with no originality. Everyone uses the same heroes.

I do like the game a lot, character design and music are pleasent, but I am only giving 3 stars due to false advertisement. This is NOT an open world RPG as the ad said it was, and none of the codes from another ad worked. If you’re going to advertise a game with codes, make them work. And the game pace is just too slow 2x battle speed isn’t enough. There’s no skip, and you can’t do multiple things at once. I’ve spent an hour staring at my phone to go 20 stages, and now, I’m bored.

Good game, rewarding progression, not too much of an investment in time and learning, but also not too simplistic, continuous advancement. Well done on those fronts. But. Two stars because… False advertisements and deceptive screenshots. Their marketing has nothing to do with the game. Dont advertise a story or render that means nothing to the experience. That’s asinine.

Fun free to play turn based strategy game that does suck you in to pay for play to upgrade your players with gem based items but if you’re smart, it’s easy to just play for free. There are a few bugs, in the sense of new features that are unlocked don’t go away when you click them to see what the notification is, so you consistently see a starred icon thinking there’s a new item or event, but it just didn’t register you doing that event. Every once in a while, the game also lags and closes out.

Good game. Easy to play and a fun time killer. However I’m getting these continuous loading screens after each action. Whether it’s equipping items or finishing a stage. It goes to the loading screen and it can never reconnect. I restart the game to see that I’m still stuck on the same stage. I haven’t been able to progress for some time now due to this bug. I can confidently say it is not my network connection or WiFi. I’ve ran multiple tests.

Okay, so, I slept on this game when the ads for it kept popping up… but I’m kicking myself for not picking it up sooner. The graphics are fantastic, the progression is amazing once you make it through the whole introductory period where it’s explaining everything for you, the battle system is great if you’re a fan of older turn-based RPGs like FF7 and Ogre Battle. All in all, I thought this would be a simple time-sink, but it turned out to be incredibly fun.
