Really wanted to give the game a good shot. Though, Development Team says in their game’s Discord, its not dead, but isn’t being worked on at this time due to not bringing in revenue. So with the bugs and all they have, they lost a player. No reason to play a broken game that lacks. And no telling when, or if, they will come back to it. Had great potential, but is now a waste of space to try saving a character that only saves to device memory instead of linked to Google or something.
- Hello Chris, saving a character is linked to a Google account after reaching level 7 or after an in-app purchase. So don’t be scared of losing your progress. We will return to developing Darkane when we have a revenue stream. We cannot continue in development without salaries. But definitely, we will improve the game experience in the future.

it is a fun game but it would be better if you were able to walk around to the creatures

Killing mobs is nice , looting system can still be enchance but alot of RPG elements are missing. Such as Customization, Playing with friends and alot more, I barely spent an hour because it looks unrefined, maybe in a few updates I would try to reinstall again and change my 2 star. But until then I hope it improves
Still early, but liking whats there. certainly room for improvement and fleshing the experience out. I do enjoy that I can play at work and at home. Biggest grip thus far is that the location detection doesn’t seem to detect me walking. I have to close and reopen the app.
location based game ….l cannot figure out how to change character name. I don’t know if there is a way to sync to your Google account? can’t wait to see what future updates bring.
