Spellsword Cards Origins user reviews :
I’m very happy with this game, it’s the first app I’ve ever spent money on and I’m very satisfied. As a fan, more content(a new class, race or path) every once in a while would be greatly appreciated. Again, very satisfied and thank you for your hard work in putting it together and keeping it going.
This is a great deck-building dungeon-crawler. The free content is enough to warrant several playthroughs, but leaves enough for the buyable content to be worth the price. Would like to see more quests. Great job guys!
Of all the roguelike phone card based dungeon crawlers I’ve played, this is the best one, with the most replay value. The card combos are varied and interesting, the line art isn’t overly colorful or cheesy, and the discord community lets you talk to the developers. The only issue is that the game can be really harsh during the early levels, but that’s ok.
Very nice game. The initial customisation makes each run feel quite different, especially since you don’t get to see all the cards of a certain path in a single run. The randomness (cards provided by “dedication” and chests, events, a shrine spawing right before the Lich) can often make the difference between success and failure which is frustrating at first. Steep learning curve: trial and error is required to learn some of the more subtle mechanics, but it feels rewarding when you finally do.
Well, now this here’s 5*’s easy! DECKBUILDERS! Hard not to admire how each plays, the games rules/assumptions &how play evolves. More companies must leap n’ produce games with thoughtful gameplay that’s purposeful, or IPs known for elucidation, prose, balls or style. Great genre, im used to aging/waiting to get lost in one, but these are HARD 2 get just right! Looks cool, ill give it some hours & update if its not engrossing or fun, but if not, Im rockin this shelf 5star deckbuilder & u should 2
Love the game. Would definitely invest in a physical multiplayer copy if it existed cause it would be real fun with friends. One of the very few mobile apps I have ever invested money in, do not regret that choice.
Loved it. Great fun game but its a little too short. Have to play it over and over. Would be better if it was longer and had a storyline/plot to each character/race you choose.
